The truth is, there is a lot of information on every step of the immigration process if you search for it on Youtube, Facebook groups, etc. It would be absolutely possible to do it on your own. Prismaat was crucial to our move Prismaat was crucial to our move to Portugal. We were not even sure if we would qualify for the visa that we were applying for. They were able to go through our details and confirm that we did stand a good chance. They helped us prepare our documents for the application, and open a bank account remotely. Even after our visa was approved, they came with us for the SEF appointment in Portugal, and carried all of our documents so that we did not worry about anything. In fact, they had to come on two separate days because there was a strike on the first appointment date, and the appointment was cancelled. When we had to move residence in between, they called and picked up our card from the SEF office on our behalf, and hand delivered it to us in Lisbon. I’ve given PRISMAAT 5 stars for this review due to their customer friendly responsiveness. It’s been approximately 1 year and 3 months since my wife first engaged this company for their services in Expat relocation. They led us through getting a NIF to opening a bank account then on to acquiring our residence visa and then our residence permit. PRISMAAT sent a seasoned representative with us for the all important interview with SEF. In my case the interview was scheduled in the small remote town of Braganza in the far northeast corner of Portugal. Why so far? Because they knew that waiting for an interview in LIsbon could take 5 or 6 months. I waited only about 6 weeks for my interview. Along the way they offered a great deal of advice for steps like securing a residence certificate from our town in order to avoid paying duty and taxes on the cars and personal effects that we were importing to Portugal. I never felt i am at another Country where i never before. Which was out of my comfort Zone.
Now Portugal is my most prefered Place to Stay and to look further for my family-Because of Prismat.

We have lived in a few countries, and moved house a few times as well. So we know that getting good support is essential. Prismaat (Nuno) was an obvious first choice as we were looking to change our Tasmanian home to a European lifestyle in northern Portugal. From the first conversation with Nuno through to moving into our new home, we have been supported in every part of the official process, and more...everything from the best place for Pastel de Nata to buying a car and house. We had no problems with the Consulate in Sydney not least because we got help from Prismaat on all the tricky bits of applying for a D7 visa. I found ‘Prismaat Business Group’ to help with my D7 visa by accident and was satisfied with their services along the way. I praise them for their professional advice, good communication, sincere assistance and fair service charges.
