Compared to last year, Europe grew by 2% in terms of gross final consumption of energy from renewable sources in 2020 (22%), this is more than what was intended for 2020 as included in Directive 2009/28/ EC on the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources.
This is a very good milestone for the envisaged sustainability in 2050.
